Alexander Thomas John PARNIS Lieutenant Commander Royal Naval Reserve. Born 4 October 1880 at St Julians, Malta. In 1909 he married Hettie (Hetty) Dams in the registration district of West Ham, Essex. 17 April 1924 he and his wife embarked from Southampton bound for Cherbourg, France. Residence in England was 27 Purley Oaks Road, Sanderstead, Surrey. Promoted to Sub-Lieutenant 2 June 1915 with the Royal Naval Reserve

Died in Malta 1 March 1967 aged 87 years.

His wife Hetty PARNIS nee Dams Born 27 February 1880 at Uttoxeter, Staffordshire, died in Malta 28 August 1960 aged 80 years.

4 March 1931 she embarked from London for Malta. Residence in England was 12 Seymour Place, London. 17 June 1932 she disembarked at London from Malta aged 32 years. Residence in England was 12 Seymour Place London W.1.
