- Lieutenant, Alexander Redmayne Raitt, 2nd Rajput Light Infantry, killed in action in the attempted relief of Kut, Mesopotamia, 8th March 1916 aged 23. (Wills and Admin, Ancestry have an address for him in England, 35 Leinster Square, Bayswater, Middlesex. He is commemorated on his father, Lieutenant Colonel Henry George Bowen RAITT grave stone in Ta-Braxia Cemetery, Malta and also on the Basra Memorial, Iraq
His mother was called Amy.
