Albert Victor HAMMOND. Able Seaman P/JX126023 Royal Navy on HMS Suffolk. Born 9th February 1910 at Wimbledon London to Alfred and Violet Hammond nee Nunns. enlisted 4th February 1926 on HMS Ganges occupation prior to enlistment, office boy. Died 20th January 1931 aged 20 years at Royal Naval Hospital, Bighi, Malta from an re-occurrence (1930 case) of acute infective endocarditis.
