Albert Ernest BARTLETT (Alias Frederick BROWN)

Albert Ernest BARTLETT. (Served as FREDERICK BROWN) Stoker 1st Class, SS117137 Royal Navy on HMS Calypso. Born 30th October 1897 at Wells Somerset to Alfred John and Mary Jane Bartlett nee Neal. Enlisted 11th May 1915 on HMS Pembroke II. Died 19th October 1919 aged 21 years from a fractured skull in Royal Naval Hospital, Malta from injuries received in a drunken brawl on shore. His widow of 55 Tynemouth Street Fulham S.W. was informed of his death 21st October 1919.

At rest in Plot D Grave 452 Capuccini Naval Cemetery, Malta.
