In my opinion, only the additional armor was penetrated and the EMES15A2 sight was destroyed. Perhaps the gun mantlet was also damaged.

On Tuesday, January 23, in an interview with the German press agency dpa, Federal Defense Minister Boris Pistorius announced that the government of Chancellor Olaf Scholz will donate 6 Westland WS-61 Sea King Mk41 maritime helicopters to fighting Ukraine. Deliveries will start in the middle of this year. They will join the three helicopters of this type donated almost exactly a year earlier by Great Britain.
