Marines scale a mound of rubble as they fight their way into the NVA stronghold in the Citadel – the ancient Imperial capital’s fortress – during the battle for Hue. U.S. Marines have been battling VC and NVA house by house, street by street, brick by brick in a bloody effort to retake the former capital of Vietnam and its Citadel.

There is a guy that did a video series that depicts various key points of Hue City street battles w/ a then-now theme, to include street views. Perhaps this will assist you? Good luck

A leatherneck of the 1st Marine Division carries a Thompson gun, with the butt stock removed to save weight, during the Tet Offensive, in the battle for Hue, February 1968. This Thompson was found from ARVN stocks during the battle and used during the street fighting there.
