If you have children there may be some form of child support but otherwise if you are divorced with no children then she should have no further claim to you or to your estate. I would check with a divorce lawyer to make sure though!
As a divorcee I can understand your valid and sensible concerns. If you were paying into the pension while married and living together then the answer to your question is yes more than likely, however if you are just joining a pension scheme after seperation and your wife has never or could ever say she has contributed to it then the answer would be no. My ex wife decided she was going to make a claim to my pension until I reminded her that her pension was much better than mine and so if she does then I will reciprocate the gesture. She didnt go ahead with her threat. :mrgreen:
