A RAF Hercules aircraft has been involved in a mid-air collision in the Middle East.
The Hercules C130J from RAF Lyneham, Wiltshire, was on a routine sortee between Kabul and Bucherest when the collision took place.
The Ministry of Defence says the craft collided with an "unidentified foriegn aircraft" on 22 May over Turkmenistan.
The Hercules was able to carry out a controlled landing in Baku. Only minor damage was caused.
