It’s odd innit? I don’t have much knowledge about Bolivian politics as most people here, but let my mind wander and I was suddenly thinking a General wasn’t pleased with a socialist Presidente and decided to overthrow him after getting relieved.

It doesn’t appear to have been the case, more accurately what you summed up.
