Welcome Kev, a few more posts and your account won’t need to be moderated anymore.

Good to have you aboard. Seems like you’re catching up on decades old threads even.

I think he’s gonna need a bigger boat. Though he was a tanker not navy. Tanker don’t know how to swim. Not ever sure navy guys know too.
The Troop I was first in when I joined the British Army, 3 Troop, C Squadron,
1st Royal Tank Regiment spent three weeks on HMS Blake in 1981 in the Mediterranean Sea, we didn’t do much Navy stuff but we did get drunk quite a lot in the gunners mess?????.
“Tankie, British” not “Tanker, American” Origins back to the the first Tank Crews, which were originally Naval gunner’s, so some Naval links??
Swimming was a requirement when I joined the British Army?‍♂️?‍♂️?‍♂️?‍♂️ but didn’t like trying it surrounded by 60 tonnes of heavy metal. ????? Fear Naught.
