This aircraft was intended for WW2, so I'll leave these here.
This was a Heinkel prototype for consideration by the Luftwaffe before WW2
A Heinkel He-70 with Spanish Civil War markings
Arado's Ar-80 was a competing design
Focke-Wulf's FW-159 was a Spanish Civil War era design that wasn't adopted
Another He-112 with Spanish Civil War markings
He-112 with Japanese markings. Japan bought one for testing
As an emerging design type, many small changes were made during testing
Heinkel had other designs pending like this early rocket aircraft He-176
Heinkel's "Salamander" He-162 was a successful jet design
After testing the He-112, Japan went with the A5M2 instead for its tighter turning ability. The Japanese military also didn't like air cooled engines for some reason.
Heinkel sold 100 He-112s to Romania, but they only took delivery of four.
He-112s with Spanish Civil War markings. They were used by the Nationalist side
