Medical evacuation
Combat Life Savers from 1 MCG recently trained their medical skills & drills along with a Cougar of the 300 SQN of the Koninklijke Luchtmacht
.
Often during an exercise, the medical scenario stops when the victim has to be evacuated. Learning to evacuate is therefore exactly what makes this MEDEVAC (medical evacuation) training so valuable. Landing the helicopter in the right place, carefully loading the victim and passing the details to the flightnurse.
At the training at Gilze-Rijen Airbase, a team of General Military Nurses and a physician were also present to provide the marines with feedback. Because of this, the medical skills & drills of these CLS-ers are fully operational again.
