Jeez that's a lot of height over bore

Looks like it clears the AN/PEQ by a wide margin. Could be to account for the helmet and tubes getting in the way when using NODs, but in the day time it looks sub-optimal.

Each commando team at least has one or multiple NATO Special Operations Combat Medic, which is given at the Nordic Special Operations Combat Medic (NSOCM) course, where the Netherlands is a full partner. Of course each individual commando is also trained to provide basic life-saving care during combat.

12 Raiding Squadron, 1st Marine Combat Group, Netherlands Marine Corps, Royal Netherlands Navy were deployed to Cyprus on 18 October as a Marine Spearhead Task Unit due to the situation in Israel. This week, these Marines will be relieved by 22 Raiding Squadron of the 2nd Marine Combat Group.

A few years ago a man lost control of his car and ploughed his car into a guardrail, sustaining life-threatening injuries.

Right after the crash out of the wheatfield next to the highway six KCT operators emerge to render first aid. They were Combat Medics on a medical training course that involved a land navigation exercise in full kit.

The luckiest man on earth survived the crash.
