WORKERS' MEMORIAL BUILDING.

Built on the site of the former Auberge De France one of the finest buildings of the Knight's of St John until totally destroyed by Nazi Bombs on the 8th April 1942
This Memorial Building was erected by decision of the General Workers Union National Conference in the years 1955 in remembrance of the pioneers of this great organisation and in memory of the Workers of Malta who gave their lives fighting the War 1939-1945 so that we may ALL REMAIN FREE.
