Woodrow DIXON

Woodrow DIXON. Seaman 2nd Class (SEA2) 6343072 USNR. Born 15 January 1920 at Lawrence Kentucky USA to Christopher Columbus and Cynthia Ellen Dixon, nee Justice. Killed by a guided bomb explosion on USS SAVANNAH and was flown to Malta along with 25 other men for burial .

Laid to rest 13 September 1943 in Plot G. Grave 115 Capuccini Military Cemetery, Malta.
Now at rest in Arlington National Cemetery, Arlington, County Virginia USA.
