Private 24124033 Winston DONNELL, 6th County Tyrone Battalion, 1st UDR man to be killed in the troubles)

He was shot in the head dying instantly in a joint Provisional and Official PIRA gunmen using a Thompson Submachine gun ambush at a vehicle check point in Clady, County Tyron near the border 9th August 1971 aged 22. At rest in Lower Urney Presbyterian Churchyard.

Commemorated on the Ulster Defence Regiment Roll of Honour
