WILSON Walter Newton Sapper 67173, 147th Army Troops Company, Royal Engineers died on the 23rd September 1917 aged 35 in France from wounds received in action. He was the son of Samuel and Emma of Little Warford, Cheshire. He formerly lived at The Averhams Flaxton, Yorkshire. He is commemorated on his parents memorial in All Saint Churchyard, Marthall, Cheshire and is at rest in Mendinghem Military Cemetery, Belgium
