- SAMMONS William. Stoker 1st Class, K/27357, Royal Navy on HMS Latma (Egmont). Born 14 September 1895 at West Ham, Essex enlisted 13 July 1915 on HMS Pembroke II occupation prior to enlistment, railway fireman (train stoker) Died 8th November 1917 aged 23 years in Royal Naval Hospital Malta of dysentry flexner. His mother of 36 Rilies Road Plaistow Cornwall was informed of his death the next day.
