William ROPER Able Seaman SS357 Royal Navy on HMS Formidable. Born 8th November 1885 at Dulwich, Surrey, enlisted 22nd February 1904, occupation prior to enlistment, under carter. On the 13th November 1907 he was transferred to 239749. Died 13th December 1907 of pneumonia in a hospital in Malta. His aunt was informed of his death on the 13th December 1907 aged 22.
