William John PERRETT

William John PERRETT. Able Seaman D/J21709, Royal Navy who gave his life on H.M.S. Courageous, (aircraft carrier) which was sunk by submarine U-29 on the 17th September 1939 aged 42, husband of Marjorie. At the time of her husband death she was living at Bedminster, Somerset. He is commemorated on his wife's memorial in St Andrew's Churchyard, Cromhall, Gloucestershire, also on the Plymouth Naval Memorial, Devon.
