- William George WAKE. Chief Stoker K16569 Royal Navy on HMS Warspite. Born 9th June 1894 at Winchester Hampshire enlisted 17th October 1912 on HMS Victory II occupation prior to enlistment , paper makers assistant. Died 23rd May 1928 aged 33 years of asphyxia from the effects of Carbon dioxide (CO2) gas whilst working in the bulges of his ship in Malta.
