- William George BEDWELL. Able Seaman J34857 Royal Navy on HMS Sandhurst. Born 27th January 1898 at Gillingham, Kent. Enlisted 27th January 1915 on HMS Powerful. 1911 residing with his parents Osborne George and Josephine Emmiline M Dovey of (1901) 118 Gardiner Street, Gillingham, Kent.
Died 22nd April 1927 aged 29 years on board Sandhurst from a knife wound inflicted by a mess mate.
Wills and Admin, Ancestry. His residence in England was 77 Medway Road, Gillingham, Kent died on date stated. His effects went to Osborne George Bedwell, shipwright.
