William ELLSWORTH

Captain, William ELLSWORTH. Born 1779 died 13th January 1848 aged 69. For many years resident in this island. Died at his home, 65 Strada Irlandese, Vittoriosa, Malta. He was married on the 16th November 1816 to Eliza SPATTARO of Vienna. Master of Transport, Duke of York. He gave notice that he will not be liable for debts incurred by his wife, Eliza Ellsworth, 26th June 1827. At that time he was Master of Brig, Maitland.
