CREEK William. Private, 3971, 5th, Bedfordshire Regiment, died 12th October 1915. He was born at Abbotsley, Huntingdonshire.

BARRIE Alexander, Private, 1117, 28th, Australian Infantry. Died of his wounds, 10th October 1915, aged 22 years. The son of John and Margaret Barrie, of 8 York Terrace , Shettleston, Glasgow. Born at Parkhead, Glasgow. He enlisted at Blackboy Hill, Western Australia on the 28th May 1915. He was aged 22 years and 3 months, occupation, farmer. His next of kin was his brother, John, of Denmark, Western Australia, then his father John of 8 York Terrace, Shettleston. He embarked from Freemantle, Western Australia on H.M.A.T. Ascanius on the 29th June 1915 to Egypt. On the 4th September 1915 he embarked Alexandria for Gallipoli on H T Ivernia. Whie in action he was shot and wounded in his left hip on the 22nd September 1915 at Gallipoli Peninsular and treated at 7th Field Ambulance, then at No 16 Casualty Clearing Station, Gallipoli. The same day and was invalided to Malta on Hospital Ship, Grampion. The 2nd October 1915 he was admitted into Military Hospital, Tigne, Malta where he died on the 10th October 1915 at 3-30pm. He was laid to rest the following morning by Chaplin W Cowan in Pieta Military Cemetery, Malta

FOSTER Frederick Holden, Private, 192, 24th, Australian Infantry. Died of his wounds, 9th October 1915, aged 24 years. The son of Angus Holden and Jessie Foster, of The Cedars, Merbein, Victoria, Australia.
