In 1911 he was living with his parents and siblings at No 1, 59 Court, Farm Street, Birmingham , husband of Doris H nee Grice. Stockhall, of Selly Oak, Birmingham. Died 24th March 1942 aged 36. Joseph Henry DAVIES. Sergeant 780830, 26th Defence Regiment, Royal Artillery, son of Joseph Thomas and Rachel Jane Davies nee Lee. In 1911 aged 9 months he was living with his parents at 28 Harding Street Crew Cheshire husband of Florence Maud Davies nee Bullen, of Wrexham, Denbighshire. Died 25th March 1942 aged 31 At rest in Pembroke Military Cemetery, Malta. P1/R3/G21
John FARRINGTON. Private 3529187, 8th Manchester Regiment. Died 29th March 1942 aged 40. In 1911 aged 8 months is shown as the son of Susannah Farrington, single woman lodging at the home of Mr and Mrs William Robert Inns at 100 Bennett Street Ardwick Manchester. His baptismal record shows he was born on the 21st June 1902, baptised on the 9th July 1902 at All Saints West Gorton Manchester to John and Susannah Farrington of 58 Stowell Street, Manchester. His marriage certificate shows no father. He was the husband of Martha nee Loughman who he married in the 7th April 1928 Saint Mark church, Gorton Lancaster.
