- William Alexander BAIN. Chief Petty Officer D/M3045 Royal Navy on Royal Navy on HMS Queen Elizabeth. Born 10th August 1888 at Manchester Lancashire to William and Agnes Bain nee Little. In 1911 he was residing with his parents and siblings at 208 Mossley Road, Winton, Lancashire Enlisted 19th June 1911 on HMS Pembroke I. Civilian occupation, clerk. Died 6th January 1932 aged 43 years at Royal Naval Hospital, Bighi of acute lobar pneumonia and cardiac failure. Wills and Admin, Ancestry. His residence in England was 37 Federation Road, Laira, Plymouth died on date stated. His effects went to Dorothy Gertrude Bain, widow.
