Born 1883 at Mallow, Cork, in County Cork to Donald and Fanny Sybilla Shearer, nee Whittingham of 01 Wentworth Street, Golders Green. (Mother’s birth name
Killed in action in France February 4th 1916 aged 33 years.
At rest in Cambrin Churchyard Extension, Pas de Calais, France

He was born in Mallow, Cork, in County Cork. Occupation Merchant (Manufacturer) He resided in Germany with his parents.
He was served 3 years in the School Corps.
Joined up 7th September 1914 aged 32 years at 24 St James Street, London.
and was posted to the Middlesex Public School Battalion. 09 July 1915 posted to 24th Middlesex Battalion and the 01 September 1915 to the 16th Middlesex Regiment.
He embarked for France with his battalion 17 November 1915
Killed in action 04 February 1916.
