A B-1 bomber had to make a wheels-up landing in Diego Garcia. Unfortunately, there was no crane available on the island that could then lift the 200 ton aircraft and get it off the runway. But a creative crew chief found some high capacity jacks that lifted the aircraft enough to get the gear down, and the aircraft off the runway.
