FAULKES Albert, Rifleman 2056479, 2nd Rifle Brigade killed in action in Italy 21st June 1944 aged 24. Son of Thomas & Martha,husband of Dorothy Edna, nee Hopkinson of Tibshelf and brother in law of Walter Hopkinson who also fell in 1944. At rest in Assisi War Cemetery, Italy.
Both commemorated on the Hopkinson family memorial at St John the Baptist churchyard, Tibshelf, Derbyshire .
