Ulster Defence Regiment and Civil Defence Services, flags

UDR Flag is mounted on a Bass drone from a bagpipe and is located in Belfast City Hall.

It was erected by Belfast City Council on the 7th June 1991 to mark the 21st Anniversary of the formation of the Ulster Defence Regiment, Freemen of the City of Belfast and recognition of the contribution made to life of the City and its citizens by the Officers and Members of the Regiment.

The other flag is for the Belfast Civil Defence Services which is above the memorial to those who were killed by air raids over the city of Belfast , April and May 1941
