- COWLEY, Tom, Private 308365, 1/8th King\'s Liverpool Regiment, killed in Belgium on the 3rd June 1917 aged 24. He was the son of Joseph Vernon and Sarah Ann of Levenshulme, late of Macclesfield. He is commemorated on a family memorial at Macclesfield Cemetery, Cheshire and is at rest in Vlamertinghe Military Cemetery, Belgium
