[The CWGC and SDGW both have the same death date which is different to the one stated on the memorial] Private G15151, 11th Royal Sussex Regiment killed in action 28 February 1917. Buried at Railway Dugouts Burial Ground, Belgium. Born at Ashover, Derbyshire Son of Isaac and Louisa of Holestone Moor, Ashover, Derbyshire CWGC surname spelt Beresford. UK Soldiers the died surnames spelt as Berresford

STALEY James Stirland Pte 17637, 11th Sherwood Foresters (Notts and Derby Regiment) killed in action 05/10/1918, age 30. Son of William and Annie Staley, of Tissington, Ashbourne, Derbyshire. Buried at Guizancourt Farm Cemetery, Gouy, France
