Extended Description
Private 24489184 Thomas James IRWIN, 6th County Tyrone Battalion. On the 26th March 1986 aged 52 he was shot dead by the PIRA while at his place of work, sewage works at Mountfield near Omagh. A lone PIRA volunteer, not wearing a mask, approached him and shot him a number of times, he was off duty.
At rest in St Michael's Churchyard, Sixmile Cross, County Tyrone.
