Extended Description: Thomas Frith. Fourth Engineer Officer,Merchant Navy on SS Observer. Son of Herbert Edward and Annie Frith, of Fleetwood, Lancashire. Killed at sea 16 December 1942 when his ship was torpedoed and sunk in the South Atlantic. Commemorated on the Tower Hill Memorial, London

This memorial plaque is at the National Memorial Arboretum, Alrewas, Staffordshire
