Private56094 Thomas BENTLEY 15th Welsh Fusiliers, formerly Private 32404 North Staffordshire Regiment. Killed in action at Ypres, 14 May 1917 aged 32. Son of John and Hannah Hannah Bentley and brother of George, who also fell, of The Row, Cubley. Husband of Harriet Bentley of 30 Ashbourne Road, Rocester, Staffordshire. Born at Hixon, Staffordshire and was residing, prior to his death, at Lichfield.

Buried at Essex Farm Cemetery, Belgium.

Commemorated on a family memorial at St Andrews churchyard, Cubley, Staffordshire.
