Extended Description: Sergeant Air Gunner, 969431 Sydney WRIGHT. Royal Air Force (VR) attached to 31 Squadron, South African Air Force, killed on active service overseas 22nd September 1944 aged 24. Born 1920 in Belfatst to Adelaide, nee Doggart and Francis Edward Wright. Commemorated on a family memorial in Dundonald Cemetery, County Down, Northern Ireland. At rest in Belgrade War Cemetery, Serbia.
