809117 Sydney Hawthorne ‘Darkie’ Hanson MBE. F II E. Engine Fitter. Joined C Flight. Rejoined Post-War, becoming commissioned as Engineering Officer Flight Lieutenant. In 1953 he was stationed at RAF Luqua, Malta. Died 25th September 2000
