CWGC Information. Private 87579, Sydney PRIDDY, 22nd Northumberland Fusiliers (Tyneside Scottish), formerly 62636 Royal Defence Corps. died on the 8th September 1918. Husband of Mrs. Daisy. E. Middleton (formerly Priddy, nee Hudson.), of 36, Bradley Street, Uttoxeter, Stafford. Correct name was Sydney Francis PRIDDY, son of Thomas and Ann Eliza. In 1911 he was living with his widowed mother and his siblings at 44, Lyon Street, Hebburn Quay on Tyne. At rest in Sailly-Labourse Communal Cemetery Extension, France. Commemorated on a Poppy Cross at Uttoxeter War Memorial, 8th November 2015.
