Born 31 January 1883 at Rectory Farm, Gestingthorps, nr Castle Hedingham, Essex to King and Elizabeth Downs, nee Land.
1891-1911 residing with her parents and siblings at The Parsonage of Parson or Rectory Farm, Gesthorpe.
Enlisted 21 May 1915 aged 31, to 11 May 1917.
Died at her home 11 May 1917 aged 34 from pleurisy and tuberculosis.
At rest in St Mary the Virgin Churchyard, Gestingthorpe, Essex.
