- Colonel Frederick Hay SWINFEN, M.K.W. 5th Dragoon Guards, late of Lapley, (Staffordshire) died 22nd June 1914. He resided at 14, Castle Yard, Windsor Castle, Windsor. He was Military Knight of Windsor, late Colonel in His Majesty's 5th Dragoon Guards and was the husband of Clara Emma.
London Gazette dated 29th April 1879. Lt F H Swifen, late half pay, late 5th Dragoon Guards to have honorary rank of Colonel upon retirement from the Service. Dated 8th March 1879.
