Stuart Lindesay Alexander Sutherland RUDD-CLARKE . D.S.O. Lieutenant Colonel 44043 , retired. Field Regiment Royal Artillery. Born 18th October 1909 and died 24th November 1971.

2nd Lieutenant Royal Artillery 29th August 1929. Lieutenant, 29th August 1932, Captain 1st August 1938. Acting Major 21st March 1940 to 20th June 1940. Temporary Major 21st June 1940 to 29th August 1940 and 5th April 1941. On the 28th June 1945 he was awarded the Distinguished Service Order, for war service Palestine. He was married in 1939 to Xenia Mary Curtais nee Murial. She died 31st July 1987 aged 87. She lived at Longbridge Deverill House, Warminster, Wiltshire.
