This memorial is in St Luke's church, Hodnet, Shropshire and commemorated the men from Stanton on Hine Heath and Stoke on Tern

HEATLEY Richard Stanley Richard, Driver M2/073204, Army Service Corps attached to 47th Field Ambulance, Royal Army Medical Corps,killed in action 24th July 1918. In 1911 he was living with his parents, Frank Allen, Helen nee Huxley and siblings at Moston, Stanton, Shropshire. (Wills and Admin, Ancestry.co.uk) He lived at Moston House, Stanton upon Hine Heath. His effects went to his father, a farmer. At rest Royallieu French National cemetery, Compiegne, Oise, France
Some notes from his army records. He joined up aged 20 years on the 30 March 1915 and was posted to the Army Service Corps. He was by occupation Lorry Driver, mechanic and lived with his parents at Moston. His father was his next of kin. On the 18th April 1915 he embarked for France from Southampton on S.S. Lydia disembarking the following morning 18th at Le Harve. Transferred to 47 Field Ambulance awas killed in action in the field on the 24th July 1918.
The memorial has Stanley R Heatley, which is slighty incorrect.

HOLLINSHEAD Percy, Private 32928, 6th King's Shropshire Light Infantry, killed in action 18th August 1917 aged 20. Son of Thomas and Mary Emma Hollinshead, of Hines Heath Farm, Stanton, Shrewsbury. Commemorated on the Tyne Cot Memorial, Zonnebeke, Belgium

KERRY ALICK (Memorial has Alec) Gunner 137156, 527th Battery, 56th Brigade, Royal Field Artillery died 21st October 1918 aged 28. Son of Samuel and Harriet of 1. Church Cottage, Stanton, Shrewsbury. Buried at Bucquoy Road Cemetery, Ficheux, France

SHOTTON Jim Micklewright, Private 38044, 4th Reserve Battalion, Royal Lancashire Regiment died 16th January 1918 aged 18 at Oswestry Camp Hospital Shropshire. Son of William and Fanny of Stanton upon Hine Heath. In 1911 he was living with his widowed mother, Licensed Victualler, and siblings at New Inn Stanton of Hine Heath aged 11 years. Buried at St Andrews churchyard, Stanton upon Hine Heath, Shropshire
