Private 18256, 1st Scottish Borderers died of wounds at the Dardanelles 29th August 1915 aged 27. Son of Robert and Ellen of Styal, Cheshire. Commemorated on his parent memorial at Wilmslow Cemetery, Cheshire and is buried at Cairo War Memorial Cemetery Egypt
