Pilot Officer, Pilot 40949 Arthur James SKIDMORE, 219 Squadron, Royal Air Force died 13th March 1940 aged 25. He was the son of William Henry and Eliza Ness Skidmore, of Christchurch, Canterbury, New Zealand and husband of Ruth Skidmore, of Little Gaddesden, Hertfordshire. He is at rest in Catterick Cemetery, Yorkshire.
