SIMPSON, Sidney, Private 11855 9th Warwickshire Regiment died on active service in Mesopotamia 17th July 1917 aged 24. He was the son of William and Caroline of 5, Percy Street, Stratford on Avon. He is commemorated on his parents memorial in Stratford on Avon Cemetery, Warwickshire and also on the Thiepval Memorial, Somme, France.
