Sculthorpe William Vaughan, B.A. Oxford, 2nd Lieutenant 1/22nd London Regiment (Queens) killed in action in Ypres, Flanders 8th June 1917 aged 26 years and 1 month. He was the only son of William and Annie Marston who in 1911 the family were living at 3, Ashleigh Road Leicester. He is at rest in Woods Cemetery, Belgium. This memorial is situated in Leicester Cathedral
