Scott (Scottie) Gordon SUMMERS. Marine P063409S J Coy, 42 Commando , Royal Marines injured in road accident whilst driving a Pinzgauer vehicle 4th February 2007 at Helmand Province, Afghanistan died of his injuries in a specialist unit in the Queen Elizabeth Hospital, Birmingham, on the 21st February 2007 aged 23. At rest in Snell Hatch Cemetery, The Dingle West Green, Crawley RH11 7JG, grave 212

Anthony (Tony) EVANS. Lance Corporal 30005377 J Coy, 42 Commando, Royal Marines died of wounds along Marine Georgie Sparks 27th November 2008 aged 20
They were on (the dreaded, been there done that) foot patrol in Lashkar Gah, Helmand province when they were attacked and (RPG) rocket propelled grenades and badly wounded. They were treated at the scene, then casevac to Camp Bastion, but lost their fight during the flight.
At rest in Grancetown Cemetery, Ryhope Road, Sunderland SR2 9RS in Section Ward 6, Row LS grave 12223
