He first married Annie Elizabeth Foyle in 1926 and died 30 October 1933 aged 29 years. Her last address was 24 Belveder Park, Stranmillis, Belfast. Laid to rest 1 November

He married his sister-in-law Florence Margaret Foyle in 1934 and she died 22 January 1985 aged 78 years. Her last address was 27 Ava Street, Ormeau Road, Belfast. Laid to rest 24 January.
They are all at rest in Dundonald Cemetery, Belfast in Plot C2 Grave 129.
