MITCHELL Samuel Henry Acting Corporal 7854, D Company 1st Rifle Brigade accidently killed at Mellieha Malta on the 30th March 1905 aged 26. Born at Staplefield, West Sussex, enlisted on the 16th May 1900, occupation prior to enlistment, gardener. Son of Charles Henry and Ann and brother to Charles, William, Elizabeth and Frances His mother and siblings were all granted a gratuity on the 9th June 1905 At rest in Plot 4 Row 3 Grave 10 in Imtarfa Military Cemetery, Malta.
