Corporal T/164030 Samuel GRIFFITHS, 703rd Armoured Division Troops Company, Royal Army Service Corps, died 6th April 1945 aged 27. He was the son of John and Maude and was the husband of Mary of Dewsbury Moor, dewsbury, Yorkshire. He is commemorated on a poppy cross memorial at the RASC and RCT Memorial at the Birkenhead Cenotaph, and also on the Groesbeek Memorial, Gelderland, Netherlands.
